Editorial Team

Teagan Acoff 

Teagan Acoff is a fourth year English major with a Theatre minor. They are currently the president of Acting Out, an activism-centered theatre club on Northeastern’s campus, and remain a member of an advisory board for their hometown’s local library back in New York. Their love of editing began back when they proofread essays for their high school classmates and has grown since. In their free time, they enjoy reading fiction, buying more books than they’ll ever need, and promising to finish the novels they’ve sworn to write.

Rebecca Bailey 

Rebecca Bailey is a second-year student from New Jersey double majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience and English, as well as pursuing a minor in writing. She is an avid reader and poetry enthusiast.

Parker Beyersdoerfer

Parker Beyersdoerfer is a second-year English and Media Screen Studies major. She is a voracious reader, curating popular and obscure texts for her personal library. On campus, she’s serving as the Goodreads manager for Northeastern’s book club, Fiction Addiction. No stranger to editorial work, Parker has reviewed countless student writings as president of her high school’s speech and debate team. She finds that helping writers/performers find confidence in themselves and their work is a great source of joy. She can’t wait to continue this mission for NU Writing!

Hiba Hussain 

Hiba is a third year pursuing a major in Biology and minors in English and Public Health. Her interest in holistically understanding people's lived experiences and commitment to authentic self-expression led her to join the NUWriting Editorial board. On campus, Hiba is involved with undergraduate literary and scientific publications and loves to read in her free time.

Sasha Moscona 

Sasha is a second-year studying English and Music Industry on a pre-law track. On campus, she is an active member of Phi Alpha Delta and Green Line Records, Northeastern’s student-driven record label. Her passion for storytelling, whether through literary, musical, or other artistic works, led her to be a member of the NU Writing Editorial Board.

Anne Sedar

Anne Sedar is a second-year English major at Northeastern University. She loves going on walks with her dogs, aimlessly browsing bookstores, and all things science fiction and fantasy.
