Abstract

This article serves as a popularization, highlighting and discussing the effects that endometriosis has on a person's personal life. More specifically, this work effectively brings to light the topic of painful intercourse in affected women. First defining dyspareunia, then introducing its large-scale impacts on both individuals and their relationships, the paper ensures that the tabboo of the subject is formally dispelled. The article additionally provides ways that women manage and cope with dyspareunia emotionally and physically. Finally, it encourages effected persons to demand the support they deserve.
